Brandon B. Peterson
I attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah where I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. I then attended Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason in Arlington, Virginia where I obtained my Juris Doctorate. During law school, I worked for the Arlington County Circuit Court in Arlington, Virginia, the Global Antitrust Institute, a medium-sized business law firm in McLean, Virginia, the Federal Trade Commission, the Maryland Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division, and the Council on State Taxation. During my final year of law school, I joined Gary W. Desper as his law clerk in March 2019. I passed the July 2019 Maryland bar exam and have been recommended for admission to the Maryland bar. I will be sworn in before the Maryland Court of Appeals in December 2019 after which I look forward to transitioning from Mr. Desper’s law clerk to his associate.
I enjoy working with our clients here in Carroll County, which reminds me of where I grew up in rural Loudoun County, Virginia. When I am not in the office, I appreciate spending time with my wife and our infant daughter. My wife and I especially enjoy traveling. We have traveled extensively throughout North America, Europe, and China where my wife is from.
